We are a family-owned kefir business, Mr. Kefir's background traces back 15 generations of traditional brewmasters, with deep roots in Bavaria, Germany where fermentation was a daily part of life, not a trend.
Everything we do today is based on that foundation. The knowledge, the discipline, and the respect for live cultures have been passed down through family tradition, we apply it every day in how we care for and produce our kefir grains.
Our grains are robust, living kefir cultures, cared for daily by our family with consistency and attention. We do not freeze, dehydrate, or refrigerate them unless specifically requested. This keeps the cultures strong, active, and ready to produce a proper
ferment as soon as they arrive.
We ship fresh kefir grains out in the evening, six days a week, so what you receive is the same quality culture we work with ourselves, healthy, fast-growing, and
highly active probiotic kefir grains.
